    Setup is straightforward. You'll need to:

    • Install Xcode (required for iOS builds) — usually ~20 minutes
    • Install a supported CLI coding agent — typically ~10–30 minutes

    Modaal checks your setup automatically. If something is missing, we'll show you exactly what to install and link you to the right guide. Once it's done, you're ready to build.

    Yes. Building and running native iOS apps requires macOS + Xcode. For now, we support Apple Silicon Macs (M1 or newer) because they deliver faster builds, better performance, and a more reliable developer environment.

    Yes — Modaal requires a connected coding agent to generate and edit the native codebase. You can use any of the 13 popular agents available today.

    Modaal is a fixed subscription — no credits. You'll also pay separately for the tools you plug in (your coding agent).

    In practice, many builders spend roughly €40–€80/month total for light-to-medium prototyping (depending on how much you generate and rebuild). You can build as many projects as your plan allows within that month.

    General-purpose agents are great at generating code, but they don't give you a native app workflow you can repeatedly ship from. Modaal is built specifically for native mobile delivery:
