Most hackathon projects die the Monday after the demo. Vibereef is where they get a second life. Builders post their prototypes into a calm vertical feed, and the community answers one question: would you use this? Yes or No. The strongest ideas rise to the Top of the Reef — and their makers get a reason to keep going.

I've organized more than 25 hackathons in the Netherlands, with over two thousand participants. And I kept seeing the same thing: a weekend of real energy, a working prototype, a great demo — and then nothing. By Monday the project is dead. Not because it was bad, but because there was no place for it to go and grow and iterate.

Vibereef is that place. A reef is where small things attach, grow, and slowly build something bigger together — the opposite of the startup hype cycle. So there are no comments and no noise. Just builders showing what they made, and one honest signal: would people use this? Some prototypes deserve to become products. This is where they find out.

We built the first version fast, as a working prototype — the same way our users build. Then Vika brought the reef to life visually, with a calm, hand-crafted look that matches what the community is about. The app was fully built in 4 full days.
