Memory Lane

Memory Lane is a digital memory box. Out of thousands of photos, you keep the few that really matter — and add the story on top: a note, a voice memo, a few seconds of video. Share selected moments with your partner or closest friends, or keep them just for yourself.

I have a memory box at home — a wooden box where I keep the physical things I don't want to lose. Old tickets, printed photos, postcards, my baby's first shoes. Every object in it has a story, and that's exactly why it's in the box.

I wanted the same feeling in my digital life. Not another photo app — a place where I choose what to keep out of the hundreds of photos I take, and add my thoughts and feelings on top of them.

I built the first version as a simple working prototype. Then Vika added a layer of hand-drawn details and small moments of delight — and turned it into something truly crafted.
